Welcome to Jen's Cake Boutique, located at Knocktopher, White's Castle, 34. As a bakery and food establishment, we take pride in creating delicious and beautifully decorated cakes for all occasions. Each cake is freshly made, and our decorations and models are crafted from edible sugar paste, allowing us to customize your cake and make it truly special.

We offer a wide variety of cake flavors to suit every taste. From classic vanilla and lemon drizzle to indulgent options like red velvet and chocolate fudge, we have something for everyone. We also have unique flavors like chocolate and Guinness and coffee and pecan available upon request. For those with dietary restrictions, we offer gluten-free cake options as well.

When it comes to serving sizes, we provide a portion guide based on 1”x1” servings, similar to what you would find at a hotel serving wedding cakes. However, for celebration cakes served at home, you can easily halve these numbers.

Planning ahead is crucial when ordering a cake from us. For wedding cakes, we require at least two months' notice, although more time is always appreciated. For other celebration cakes, two weeks' notice is ideal, but booking earlier ensures availability. You can place your order by phone or email, and providing details such as size, servings, and event date is helpful.

We understand that each customer has unique preferences, so all our cakes are individually designed. While you can choose from our website portfolio, you are welcome to change colors or other details, or simply use them as inspiration.

If you're in the process of choosing a wedding cake, there are a few things to consider. The number of tiers is usually determined by the number of guests you have. If you have a specific look in mind but the wrong number of guests, we can use "dummy" tiers and provide extra cutting cake for the kitchen. You can also add additional decorations like cake toppers, jewels, ribbons, or fresh flowers to match your color scheme.

To ensure your satisfaction, we offer tasting appointments where you can sample our cakes before making a decision.

For wedding cakes, we provide delivery and set up services at no additional cost within Kilkenny and the surrounding counties. If you prefer to collect and transport the cake yourself, we will carefully package and wrap it to avoid any damage. However, please note that once the cake is collected, we cannot accept liability for any damage that may occur. All other cakes are available for collection only, unless by prior arrangement. If you require delivery, a delivery charge will be added.
