"This place is a true hidden gem and the perfect place to wind down in the West of Ireland. Every part of the Slow cabin experience is beautifully thought through, in its design but also its impact on the environment. What the hosts have done is so impressive and inspiring. The setting on the sanctuary is really peaceful but also close driving distance to the best restaurants, walking trails and views around Galway and Clare. We can't wait to come back again!"

"We had a wonderful weekend staying in a slow cabin. The cabin itself is very well equipped despite being off grid, it has a small fridge, sockets, a two ringed gas hob,a really good quality shower and a surprisingly effective dry toilet! Added that it is very well designed. It is cosy and warm despite the weather-we had torrential rain on Friday! The stove is easy to use and very efficient. The bed is very comfortable and the indoor space lovely to spend time in. We explored the land nearby to our cabin and also spent time in a nearby national park walking. All in all we had a thoroughly relaxing weekend. We would definitely do it again!"
