"I am a woman-49yrs old (omg-cringe!) SERIOUSLY- I went to Bushypark both in July & August of this year. Firstly as is I guess Everyones' apprehension-Embarrasment,not knowing what to expect from a 'unknowable' wondering & pondering saga to - am I making the 'right ' decision- what am I going to do-what happens in these treatment centres?! Firstly, I wasn't being "pushed Into" treatment,i was way too much an Alcoholic (NOT SAYING THE SAME TO MY HUSBAND OR FAMILY) - IF I had All the time in the world to write out my journey & as it is today(&Not being as good as it should/would like it to be). A little of my story and to help those with an addiction & as to those who live in that kind of 'Awful' world & state of mind. Being TOTALLY TRUTHFUL AND HONEST I MAY AS WELL AS TELL THE TRUTH-IT WAS MY SISTER GILLIANS' 25th ANNIVERSARY TODAY-THERE HASN'T BEEN 1 DAY IN THOSE AMOUNT OF YEARS THAT I HAVN'T THOUGHT OF HER. MY SISTER ELAINE MADE UP THE MOST GORGEOUS 'TREASURY THROVE' IN A FRAME FOR MY PARENTS WITH LITTLE BITS & PIECES LAID OUT & STUCK BEAUTIFULLY FOR THEM.I THOUGHT MY USUAL BOUQUET OF FLOWERS AND A BOTTLE FOR MY FAMILY WOULD BE SUFFICE BUT I DID & KNOW ONLY THIS MORNING FROM THE TIME"
