Car wasn't going to make it through NCT the following week though, and isnt worth the cost of repair, due to rust on chassis that would have been evident to the garage. Which is probably why they took their money and ran, completely ignored me when I asked for quote on work to be done for NCT. Shady."

"I use Callan Auto Services for around 2 years with my 2008 Volvo S40 1.6 diesel , which gave me lots of worries. I never question experience and approach of them, must say that they fix several of the mechanical issues that I have with car. But issues with electronics are something different. Have issue with car going into Limb mode for unknown reason, after restarting issue is gone for week-two-month, and it pops up again. It is gray area for me, but I was expecting honest and clear information from them. Spent around 650-800€ during that time for fault cleaning, computer taking of, giving computer to some geek to fix it until I decide to sell the car. Came back to Workshop with information from friend of mine who knows something about cars, and he told me that Volvo have beneath the engine pump with some small 2 litre compartment in which need to be added Special AdBlue every 100 000km. Mechanic confirmed that like he knows about that, and starts selling me the story about price of AdBlue 30€ per litre, what if pump is burned off because it stays dry for to long. Problem is solved, AdBlue added, pump was still ok, dash board fault cleaned off for not sure any more about 250€. Purchase 2016 Mercedes Benz, and I thought that there should not be any issues with the car, and it wasn't for 11500km just two weeks before my family holiday in Europe. Issue was related with Nox sensor and AdBlue injector, I was trying to resolve the issue with few other guys, without any success. Time was clicking, and I decided to visit again Callan Auto Services, maybe they will be able to resolve this issue for reasonable time and price. And here it is: Nox sensor 750€ + VAT -4 weeks waiting Computer geek 450€ in day or two, will clear all the issues and I can go to the holiday. I said that is not acceptable for me and I will look for 2nd. opinion, some other Mercedes-Benz Mechanic. Forgot to say that Callan Auto Services clear 3 issues with charge of 85€ , and told me that they will pop up again he just bought the time for me. 2nd. opinion Mercedes-Benz Mechanic resolve the problem for 60€ price, he spent 2 hours. The approach to the issue I have was the right one, methodical and with understanding of the problem. He also told me that if Nox sensor is out of use it will cost me around 750€ +VAT , but he will contact Mercedes-Benz because there was some recall of particular Nox sensor by Mercedes-Benz, and it won't cost me anything. Callan Auto Services won't see me again, I have bitter experience with them."

Instead of waiting weeks with the other garage they had me back on the road in a couple of days. Great professional service, will definitely be back. Highly recommend these guys."
