"They made us late. They said we needed to wait 20 minutes for a taxi when it's a 7 minute drive out of town. 30 minutes go by and we call to ask, they hadn't even been on their way yet. You're better off walking."
"As someone who has used this taxi service a lot due to lack of others in the area, I would like to point out a number of things wrong with this service. Firstly they will not except any other form of payment other than cash. And if you do not have cash on you, you are commonly given out to for not 'knowing by now' you should have cash when using this service. You are then charged an extra 20% on to the original fee to stop at an ATM. This undoubtedly in order to avoid paying tax on some of the income. Secondly they will not arrive at the time they say they will, and will not except bookings for a given time, you can only booking about a 30 minutes in advance. When you do manage to book a taxi, it will either be early and them ringing you and beeping outside your house or place of work. Or the taxi will be late, in my experience up to an hour and 20 minutes before I gave up and rang another taxi. Don't get me wrong they will still answer you in this time and lead you on with just 10 more minutes in order to keep you there. Other things include not being allowed to sit in the back of the given taxi driver. I would never recommend to use this taxi service unless you have no other options and even in that case you better have a back up option if you need to be where you going at the right time"
