"Just want to thank nurse gilllian healy for looking after me Thursday. In John's Hill practice. Kind regards. James"
"I think only foreigners are giving low reviews because we are being treated differently , today I called to get an appointment for a morning the agent was telling me that no possible to this week She went to the point of asking me to get a day off if I want an appointment this week I said I can’t I have exceeded my sick leave , she was telling there is nothing I could do for , it’s something urgent I need to see my gp and if I went to emergencies they will ask me to see my go for referrals to do an operation that is urgent"
"Absolutely appalling practice, I had the ill fortune to speak to the rude receptionists at the desk yesterday evening. I simply was asking could they get in contact with a doctor for me to send records for something very important to me. They told me no we can do nothing for you come back tomorrow, I said I really need you to do this for me. Well, the militant woman said I have given you enough information if you do not go now, I am going to ring the Gardai and then your problems will be ten times worse. This receptionist threatened me for asking questions, I had said her advice was useless and she was not helpful. She a dark-haired middle-aged woman with glasses and of course a face covering although the blonde receptionist opposite her had no face covering which I highlighted. The reception desk here is astonishingly unhelpful, lazy and ignorant I will be switching practices asap. If I could give them zero stars I would."
"It is sad to see all the negative reviews about this practice on here. I think people don't appreciate the difficulties facing the medical sector in Ireland. Yes the wait times on the phone can be sometimes long, but I have never had to wait long for an appointment and all the doctors and nurses I've dealt with in there have been so nice and helpful. Not to mention they did a fantastic covid vaccination rollout. They were the only doctor willing to take on my family when we moved down to Waterford in the middle of covid, even though they were not technically taking on new patients at that time. Thank you to you all for your help."
"My biggest regret is that my doctor operates from this practice. The phone lines are absolutely ridiculous and have been that way for years and years. You can easily expect to wait anywhere from 15 to 30 minutes on hold to get an appointment. The likelihood that you will see a doctor the same day you call is next to none. The Ballybricken reception staff are often rude and unhelpful. However the staff in their other offices are great. The facilities are clean and very nice and I haven't had any issues with the doctors or nurses I've seen. They need to do something about answering the phones though."
