While in there I just mentioned to doc that I needed my represcription. She said make an appointment for my bloods and come have a checkup. When I went out to make appointment for bloods and to see her I was charged €60. They said I had a consultation because I asked in the room."

"I’ve attended this clinic for the last 5 years, with mixed results, I have to be honest. But today I’ve decided that my family and I need to move and find another GP because I can’t get any appointments within a week (not the first time) and also because of very rude support staff. Here are more details. I rang for an appointment (after holding for 6 minutes) and was told it would be a full week away. I expressed surprise at this, saying that symptoms might clear in a week, which would make it pointless. I was told there was no slots with any doctor unless it was an emergency. I offered calm and constructive feedback as a patient (i.e. a paying customer) that it’s not in the interest of anyone’s best health to only be seen in emergencies. At worst, early symptoms are often important indicators of something more sinister coming down the line. At best, you will just be left miserable for a week, possibly passing what you have onto other folks (who won’t be able to get a GP appointment either). I explained that if this clinic can only offer care in case of emergencies, then my family would need to find another GP. This wasn’t a threat, it’s just a simple fact, since we can’t get any service. The receptionist responded in a voice that I can only describe as dismissive, rude, arrogant and smarmy: “Okay, you go and do that then” and hung up. I hope this review helps other people who have similar frustrations or experiences."
