"Friendly staff, good value for the portion."
"It's a Wednesday so it's not here crowded here, but what a nice lovely venue overlooking Arthur's Quay Park here in Limerick. A special one cake and coffee. The cake was either chocolate or coffee cake, price €5.50. My wife had chocolate cake and I had the coffee cake. She doesn't eat as much as me so I got her leftover coffee cake and both cakes were delicious. Just so you don't think I'm a stiff, I let her have a piece of mind when she left."
"My friend and I had strolled through town and found that a new cafe we were going to try had closed. I then suggested that we go to this cafe as we had positive past experiences with it. However, I was greatly disappointed. We ordered 2 hot chocolates. Simple? Right?. Apparently not. My hot chocolate came overflown and sticky, with no more room in the cup for it to even be stirred. I noticed as I continued to drink, that it clearly had some lumps of hot chocolate still in the cup. I would expect this from someone's own kitchen, but NOT a professional cafe. My friends hot chocolate was also not up to standards. You may wonder what the servers stand was on the overflown mug. He laughed as he handed me my ridiculous hot chocolate. I do not recommend this cafe, even though their hot chocolate does taste nice. However, it is clearly the only good thing about this service. Also, the cream was not up to standard, much disappointment from both me and my friend."
"The worst experience dining here. My two children and husband ate here. Absolute rip off for sandwiches. I purchased at a takeaway for a homeless person, something I also do, at a nearby restaurant and had it in my hand. I was immediately approached by Jackie to advise me I couldn't dine there. I had not even attempted to open the take away bag and wouldn't ever dine in a place with another restaurant's food. Being in hospitality myself, you learn a thing or two. The suggestion was completely inappropriate. There were other diners there with other bags and they were not approached in the same manner. Fair enough if I had started to eat the food. All i was doing was sitting there joining my family while they ate. Jackie needs to be taught skills in hospitality. If I can't sit there and join my family who paid €30 for sandwiches, it's all the one. Will never ever return here. Do not enter this restaurant. Its no wonder they were empty and we in the peak of Christmas."
"Order a croasint with cheese and ham toasted, they took forever to serve me, when finally did staff kind of "toss" the plate on my table and turn back. And the ham and cheese were barely warm. Not even mentioning the expensive price."
