Craughwell Athletic Club

Welcome to Craughwell Athletic Club, a point of interest for runners and athletes alike in County Galway. Established in 1985, our institution has a long-standing tradition of promoting and nurturing talent in track and field events, as well as road racing.

Our club provides a supportive and inclusive environment for athletes of all ages and abilities. We offer a range of coaching and training programs to help members achieve their fitness goals and improve their athletic performance. Our dedicated coaching staff, who are all accredited by Athletics Ireland, work closely with each athlete to develop personalised training plans that cater to their individual needs.

At Craughwell Athletic Club, we pride ourselves on our strong sense of community. We offer a range of social events and activities throughout the year, including our annual Christmas party and awards ceremony. These events provide an opportunity for members, their families and friends to socialise and celebrate their achievements together.

As a member of our club, you will have the opportunity to participate in a range of events, including local and national competitions as well as fun runs and charity races. We have a proud history of success in competitions at local and national level, and our athletes regularly compete in international competitions.

Our facilities include a top-quality running track, a fully equipped gym, and an extensive range of equipment for field events. We also have a clubhouse where members can socialise and relax after training sessions.
