Founded in 1889, Tynagh Abbey Duniry GAA Club has a rich history and tradition of providing a platform for young and old to engage in the beautiful game of hurling and football. Our teams have enjoyed numerous successes on the local and regional level, and we are proud of our achievements on and off the pitch.

At Tynagh Abbey Duniry GAA Club, we offer a range of programs and activities for all ages, including youth and adult hurling and football teams, as well as a thriving camogie section for girls and women. Our facilities include a state-of-the-art clubhouse, dressing rooms, and grass and artificial playing pitches, ensuring that our members are equipped with the best resources to hone their skills and compete at the highest level.

Our commitment to community involvement and inclusion is at the heart of everything we do. We strive to make our club a welcoming and inclusive place for all, regardless of background or ability. We are home to one of the largest Ladies Football Clubs in Galway with over 150 registered players and a dedicated committee.

In addition to our sports programs, we also host a range of social and cultural events throughout the year, including family fun days, quiz nights, and music sessions. These events offer opportunities for members to strengthen their bonds with one another, celebrate our cultural heritage, and connect with the wider community.
