Reviews
"Wonderful collection, something for everyone. Met two very nice volunteers in the first room, and they enriched my visit experience so much. Very friendly, enthusiastic, and knowledgeable."
"Was a very interesting place. Very well kept and maintained. Lots of great history. The gentleman that we purchased our tickets from was quite nice and entertaining."
"Superb museum with an incredible range of antiquities. Fully wheelchair accessible and very easy to get around."
"Interesting eclectic collecting of historical objects. No real theme here; just stuff that the original collectors found interesting. There was a temporary art exhibition themed on the wild Atlantic way which I really enjoyed. Staff are very helpful and friendly. Entrance fee is a little high at @€7.50 plus another€5 for the temporary exhibition. Make time to explore the gardens behind the museum for some interesting sculptures and a lovely view of the Shannon."
