"MAJOR SAFETY ISSUE! Raised concerns with the retailer about strange noises when changing gears about 2 days after purchase. Bike was 'examined' and I was assured that everything was okay. About a week later the derailleur collapsed in on the spokes, jamming the wheel while the bike was in motion! Returned to seller again and he this time admitted that a faulty component had caused the accident. Problems still persisting with the product. Refused statutory refund since seller has clearly no education on consumer rights. After 4 'repairs' I will have the bike looked at by a reputable retailer. Business referred to CCPC for investigation."
