"Went to a Mac Fleetwood gig here recently. Definitely wouldn't buy tickets for a gig here again in a hurry. No seats, tables, stools etc. No where to put drinks down if you weren't standing against the walls. Ladies toilets at least 3 flights of stairs up. Everyone I spoke to had the same impression of the place. We ended up in smoking area for a seat(don't smoke) band were amazing, staff were friendly and nice place was a room with a stage..... wouldn't go back. Better venues for live music in the vicinity."

"I was having a lovely night out with my friends however halfway through the night security came to search my bag. I was the only person they did this to for no reason apart from the colour of my skin. I am raging and would never come back I never thought I would be treated in such a racist way in the south of Ireland. Furthermore Ireland has had imperial rule in the past they should know better. Extremely disappointed to say the least."

"When I tried getting in, they denied me entry for apparently being “too drunk”. Apparently I needed to sober up, when I had just left the AirBnb and hadn’t yet been out for the night yet. Was it because I have a speech impediment and my voice sounds odd? It was the small guy at the door who looked like a teenager. He let in a group of girls behind me that were stumbling around, though. That’s total nonsense, since I was there the night before for my first drink of the night also, and was allowed in. The bar inside is great, but the kid working the door needs to learn the difference between drunk and sober, or to not pick and choose what people to let in based off their gender. This was the most disappointed that i had been in Galway out of the 10 days I was there. The bartenders inside are fantastic, though. This didn’t outweigh the embarrassment of being denied in, though."
