"Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde salesman will charm the pants off you, but once he has your money, it's game over. Other staff reluctantly helped make a minor amendment to our order, but only after fobbing us off for days saying Mr. Hyde will have to call us back. We're talking a €40 refund off a €1500 order, before it even left their warehouse, and all because it was going to take far longer than they originally said due to one item not being in stock. I worked in retail, I smashed my KPIs every month, but I never treated a single customer with such disdain when they came back with a problem as I received when I returned to this store. No matter what the issue was we always did our best to fix it and treated customers the exact same before and after they bought from us. I really regret not paying heed to the other reviews. Tubs & Tiles is an absolute circus; avoid!"

"Very friendly and helpful service until I handed over my money. Then they want nothing to do with you. Wouldn't deliver heavy goods into the house just left a whole bathroom outside. Refused to replace damaged (expensive!) items because it took us 5 days to spot and not their arbitrary 2 day rule - they eventually agreed after fierce arguement but I had to bring back the large faulty unit - no chance they would collect it. Refused to take back inappropriate (expensive!) fixtures they incorrectly sold us on the premise they they were the ones we absolutely needed - they eventually refunded but only on their terms- had to bring back the fixture and wait "to see if their supplier would take it back". Completely unnecessary. If you want weeks of stress and hassle go with these guys! As they told me themselves they're not plumbers or tilers so don't make a purchase based on their advice."

"I would prefer to give 0 stars, that is all this shop deserves. Bought tiles that were different sizes (+/- 1 or 2mm) and also shrinking. When I brought them back they highlighted their No Return policy and I was also told that as per some Industry Standards for tiles and Manufacturing Specifications they allow +/- 3% difference in dimensions. I asked to see manufacturing limits which they didn't have but refused to do full refund anyway but partial. Highly recommended to keep away from this fancy looking shop."

"Tubs & tiles are definitely thee best tile shop in Galway (we have been to so many of them). Ann has been nothing but a dream to work with in trying to pick tiles for our new build. We have changed our minds so many times and she has always been so patient, offering us honest advice & so helpful in helping us choose colours & styles for each space. She's worked with our budget & helped us make alternative choices where needed. Ann had made such a difficult part of the build much easier & we are so grateful, even staying much later than her finishing time just to help us finalise everything, we did not feel at all under pressure. "I recently purchased a lot of expensive tiles from one particular salesman. Initially the experience was good and I thought very thorough as this person made sure that I checked my room measurements three times before purchase. On two occasions the employee spoke directly to my builder who also double checked with the tiler, to further clarify that I was buying the correct amount of bathroom tiles. Despite all this, I was oversold seven boxes of large expensive tiles. Both employee and manager took no ownership for this and have a ridiculous no returns policy. Needless to say, I would not be recommending this shop. Pity as I had no problems with other tiles sold by another employee here."
