"Bought a victor generator here about 18 months ago it was key start but had no key was told they would order a key which took about 3 weeks in fairness they gave me a hire generator free of charge until the key arrived. Finally the key arrived I collected my generator off to work started it up and guess what it wasn't producing electricity back to McMahons again was given a hire out generator until they fixed my brand new one a week or so later I Finally get it back and all is good now roughly 18 months later it has died smoke was coming out of it I had it looked at engine is fine but was told it will never produce electricity again totally melted in there .I rang Mcmahons explaining what has happened and was there anything they could do as it was plagued with problems from the start do u think they wanted to know all I got was its not under warranty any more we can do nothing very disappointing as this problem was in it at the start. 550 euro for 18 or so months use of a generator total rip off you live and learn my lesson is stay well clear of McMahons"

"Made the mistake of trying here again, won't happen again! Same problems, absolutely zero help. Seems like they only wish for tradesman business at the counter, no time for the general public and a constant scowl from the older staff members when a question is asked, younger staff much more helpful. When trying to find specific material out the back, again nobody to help, one staff member asleep in the van, two more engaging in chat rather than working or assisting customers standing there with a docket in hand. Very poorly run business."

There are some long serving employees there with a huge wealth of knowledge. Always happy to help you making the right choice, specially if you're not a trader and need some guidance. The delivery driver was most professional kind and helpful, he demonstrated great skill in navigating an awkward space, he was cheerful and jovial. I cannot thank him enough.
