"Delicious modern European cuisine. I had a vegetarian Tamarind Carrot with chickpeas and smoked tofu. Wife had Sticky Sweet Pork Ribs. Desserts Peanut Butter Parfait and Sticky Toffee Pudding were fabulous (but we both thought the toffee pudding was best)!"
"A good option around, however when seated near the entrance it can get quite cold. The food is good, the service is generally nice as well. However the blonde lady at the door welcoming guests could be a bit more friendly and/or a bit less biased, as she was welcoming Irish guests with a big smile, but not the foreigners like us. She also seated us in the pub near the entrance instead of the restaurant part. It felt a bit odd. Otherwise the food was good and the cheerful waiter guys saved the day. =)"
"The good: Atmosphere. Onion rings. House cut chips (fries). The bad: * The hamburger was very dry. Overly done. I asked for medium rare, and they says they'll "check". So I wasn't expecting anything, but what I got was just bad. * The food took over 20 minutes to arrive, even though it wasn't too busy. * Quite pricey, especially considering the portions and quality. * The lunch menu is pretty limited (so if you saw the cannelloni on Google Maps, maybe it's only served at dinner)."
"Good value for your money, especially if you go between 5 and 7 pm and get the prefix theatre menu. Food was very good and the service was great. Slow cooked lamb shoulder was fantastic. Sea trout was flakey, but the risotto was a bit under cooked, steak well seasoned and cooked perfectly."
"LOVE this restaurant! It’s connected to a pub so it’s handy to get pre/post drinks, if you wanted. The ambience inside the restaurant is the best - cozy and warm, with music playing on just the right volume. Tables are also well spaced so you don’t feel crammed. Noise levels are also very low despite the restaurant being fully booked the night we were in. Food was great! Starters were a bit small so recommend not to share although it is enough because the mains are big. We ordered the steak which comes with their own sides already which we thought was the best option if you wanted to get your money’s worth. All the staff are all so friendly and professional as well! Overall, I would return happily and recommend to others if they are in Galway."
