"Wasn't sure what to expect when going to this restaurant, but to say I and my party of 4 were very pleasantly surprised is an understatement. The restaurant wasn't very busy at 3pm on a Sunday which both surprised me and appeald to me. Our servers we beyond friendly and prompt with both our drinks and our courses. Having not been out for meal for quite a while both I and our party made pigs of ourselves and have no regrets about doing so. The choices on offer were fantastic for both the adventurer and the standard eater. The food was portioned just right and as you would probably have three if not four portions per person you could sample what ever your heart desires. There deep fried brie is to die for as is the cod goujons and the deep fried shrimp and the garlic mushrooms. The steak sandwich was the only slight disappointment but not so much as it would stop me having it again. But the star of the show for me was the deep fried onion rings I would eat them till I dropped and have no regrets. The desert menus had plenty of choice but the favourite was either the sticky toffee pudding or the Eton mess, the chocolate cake while nice wasn't to my taste. Overall we had a fantastic afternoon/ evening with delicious food and good service in a very relaxed warm environment what more could you hope for. This is going to be one of our regular restaurants to be revisited and revisited and revisited. Superb."
