"Conroy’s Old Bar is a wonderful and entirely unique place to stay Erron and Dave make your stay extremely comfortable with a friendly approach but also give you plenty of space to enjoy the bar. I organised a stay as a surprise for a friend and we were wowed at the set out and how comfortable the setting was. The bar area and accommodation area was extremely clean absolutely sheen, everything you need is in hand except the drink ! Bring your own ! We had a lovely time. We also enjoyed the fairy garden out the back and the shop next door. It was a wonderful experience and a real winner if you book it for someone as a surprise."

"By far one of the most beautiful places in the area! Unique and not for the narrow minded or people just looking to party.! We booked Conroys Old Bar thinking it was cool, but was blown away by the place throught our entire stay. The character in this place is just amazing, the walls feel like they are telling story's of the good old days that this little Irish pub was open to the public but at the same time making to you feel like it's home from home with its cosy decor and beds that are so comfortable after your 1st nights stay you wake up refreshed and relaxed, and we loved that all mod cons are so cleverly hidden away. The gardens are something else with everything from fairy doors, pirate ships and hobit holes for the children, a barbeque for the adults that we could only duscribe as a stroke of genius and views of beautiful green Irish fields as far as the eye can see is just something else. We saw some of the most amazing sunsets during our stay, so peaceful! The owners Dave and Erron were great too. Filled with some much useful information about the pubs history and the area and also directed us some lovely places near by for food and entertainment. The couple pulled out all the stops to make sure our stay was perfect and I truely believe we didn't get the special treatment, that they genuinely treat all their guests with such care and kindness. 5* is not enough to give to Conroys Old Bar, it's not just a place to stay its a home!"
