"Enjoyed the food and drink on offer, but found the gym and rooms a bit dated and grotty. Really could do with refurbishing the carpet throughout most of the hotel and upgrading the 22 inch TVs in the room."

"Stayed here last weekend for a hen party. Upon arriving there was ample parking. The receptionist was lovely and so helpful, we arrived early and all our rooms very ready and allocated beside each other. The bar and staff in the restaurant were very friendly and looked after us very well. Our room was clean, bed was comfy, however we noticed there was a slight musty smell when we came into the room but didn't notice it after a while. Pool and jacuzzi were fine and staff there were nice too. We had breakfast lunch and dinner there and also a pick 'n plenty all of which were delicious. I would definitely stay here again, close to everything in Carlow town."

"Great spot, we stayed overnight on a friday night. Had a lovely swim and jacuzzi. All facilities were spotless, room was large and comfy. Ate in the restaurant and the food and staff were lovely and very good value. Enjoyed watching the guests of a wedding while we had a few drinks in the bar and everyone was super welcoming. Really impressed with the whole experience and the value for money was exceptional. Top job team seven oaks!"

"Had the pleasure of staying at this hotel last weekend with a group of girls . The hotel manager is a lovely man very friendly and accommodating, the food in the restaurant was absolutely gorgeous to choose from the menu so many beautiful dishes. Staff very accommodating and rooms spotlessly clean . 2nd time here and will definitely be back ."

"I called for lunch today and I’m afraid it was an awful experience, I ordered the roast of the day it happened to be turkey and it was dreadful the meat was fine but it was served with mashed potatoe, vegetables and gravy, The vegetables were over cooked the peas had a grey pallor and were tasteless, the mashed potatoes had lumps and the gravy had a a congealed lump in it, I wasn’t sure what it was in the gravy so I asked the lady who collected the plates (expecting an apology) her response was “dunno part of the gravy?” I did state it was semi solid and it should not be so but she didn’t seem to care so I got up paid the bill and left. Really very poor experience"
