"Some staff were friendly and venue looked nice, although it was cold and draughty. The maple bbq wings were quite bland and I couldn't taste any maple flavour, just the faintest bbq taste. The chicken burger was crumb-less and flavourless. Was looking forward to that so disappointed with what came out. Maybe it was an off day. Would be willing to try again."
"One of my favourite places to eat in Galway and always the highlight of the Christmas break. We've been coming every year for the last 7-8 years. All good things come to an end unfortunately. Despite there being a pared back menu due to supply issues, the choice was still good so we stayed. Big mistake, the food was really bad. The pulled beef sandwich was cold and only had four or five tiny pieces of beef strategically placed throughout the sandwich. The salad did not look appealling either. The chips looked like they had been scraped from the bottom of the frier. Overall, very disappointing. If there are supply issues then close the doors and let people find somewhere else."

"Really lovely outdoor seating, and indoor seating too! Barna is super busy this time of the year so I'd definitely recommend booking. It's a great place for a date, and there's a good variety of foods and drinks you can get! I got the monkfish curry - it was beautiful and the rice was nice. He got the beef burger and still can't stop talking about it. For starters we shared the pizza balls and prosciutto platter as well as the crab arancini - would recommend all of it!"
