Bansha Castle , Bansha, County Tipperary

"We booked this property for our extended family for a week's holiday in August. We absolutely loved our stay. The size of the house was great to accommodate all of us, with the gardens out front and back a lovely addition for the kids, giving plenty of options for things to do and play during our stay. We were particularly lucky with the weather, meaning we could make full use of the outdoor area at the back. It is apparently used sometimes for small weddings, but we found it perfect for family get-togethers, where we could sit outside, BBQ, and relax. The hosts were very helpful and quick to answer any questions we had. That said, they were also respectful of our privacy while we were there, allowing us to feel fully at home at Bansha. I strongly recommend staying here if you get the chance."

"We stayed here over New Year's with our extended family and it couldn't have been better. The owners were extremely welcoming and helpful. We were a large group (10 adults & 7 kids) and there was plenty of room for us all. Nice bedrooms with vast majority en suite. The living area is homely with a nice snooker room alongside. We ate every evening in the large dining room. The country kitchen has everything you need. There's a local shop & butchers in the village only a couple of mins drive or easy walk. 15/20 mins drive to a larger shop if you need it. As mentioned by others the outside area is fantastic and a real asset to the castle. Multiple brunches were eaten out there. Overall we loved our trip and it ticked exactly what we were looking for. Highly recommend."

"My friends and I booked into Bansha castle and it was an absolutely fantastic venue. From the warm welcoming fire on arrival to the spacious living areas and the hotel standard bedrooms it was the perfect venue for a weekend away catching up with friends. The snooker table and heated outdoor area were the icing on the cake. The owner was so helpful and accommodating nothing was too much to ask for. I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a large venue to accommodate a group meet up."

"Gorgeous house, very cosy, loads of space and great for relaxing. We stayed here with our extended family for a special birthday and it was one of the nicest places I have ever stayed. Plenty of space and a lovely enclosed garden at the back, which was brilliant for the kids (they also loved playing in the house, it was great for exploring and hidding out). I would highly recommend this house for any occasion. I look forward to staying again at our next big occasion."
