"I recently got reminded of this ethically dubious place when I was discussing workers rights and basic workplace law with a wrc solicitor. They had me do a full day unpaid trial as a kitchen porter. A couple of days afterward, they called me to deny me the job but offer me a full day unpaid trial as hotel receptionist. They didn't disclose that this new prospective position would actually be part time (I had originally applied for a full time position as kitchen porter). Being desperate for money and a job, as any young person living on their own in Ireland would be, I accepted the unpaid gig. They had me going into guest's rooms and tidying up. An unpaid, untrained, uninsured, stranger wandering unattended in guest rooms. I could have been a liability, just fleecing or compromising guest belongings with no recourse. In no way would I ever be comfortable staying there, or eating there, knowing they are exploiting desperate people for unpaid work. Steer clear of this deeply morally despicable place."

"This review is well overdue! My family & I stayed at the Coach House after Xmas for 5 days and we had the best time. I cannot say enough about how helpful the staff and owner were. From the moment we arrived, until we left; they helped make our stay the absolute best. We had multiple requests and they accommodated them all. Not only is the location of the Coach House in the heart of Oranmore and so close to Galway City, but the hotel has everything you need including a restaurant with the most delicious food. Without hesitation, I highly recommend the Coach House and deeply THANK the owner and staff for all they did for us."

"Basic but perfectly adequate room. Good shower, although the shower rooms could do with larger towels. Carparking available for guests."
