"Wonderful central Cork pub and restaurant. Perfect Guinness and Fish 'n' chips with super friendly staff. Very interesting and comfy interior. Highly recommended"
"Could be better. Went for Brunch on a Bank Holiday Monday. Nice to be able to sit outside. Limited menu for brunch breakfast options, no sweet choices like pancakes or waffles. Had a full Irish. The sausages were poorly cooked. Could have done with beans or tomato, it was a bit dry without. The puddings & mushroom were nice though. The waiting staff disappeared before we could ask for ketchup, eventually flagged someone but a quality check would have been appreciated. Service overall wasn't great. Our bill was not correct too, it included Americanos at €2.50 each which should have been included in the Full Irish. They rectified, so make sure to double check before you pay. I'd like to try again for lunch/dinner but won't be in a rush to go soon."
"Visited here last weekend with a group of friends and can't believe how disappointing it was! The bar itself is a nice looking place but thats all good I could say about it as the food was so poor! Especially the burger! In particular the portion size was bad to begin with after waiting about 40Mins for it. Then to add to it the burger was rock solid and like something heated up a few times over. I had about 15 chips on the plate and it genuinely looked like I put them out by ordering it. Other people in the group of friends got the burger and also said there was terrible too but some people said the feather blade of beef was nice. The food here isn't cheap by no means so when it arrives terrible its just not on! It was like something out of dunnes deli I couldn't recommend this place being honest. There are far nice places around cork for sure"
"Checked out the rooftop area for the first time. Really nice area. Quirky, modern, clean, good heaters, tvs in the area that would be great for watching sports matches on at times, comfortable seating and spacious area too… The food was nice! Waiting staff were attentive and helpful. Wanted to help where possible and their personality shined through too at times which is always lovely to see! Katelyn, who was dealing with our table was excellent.. she was herself, whitty and knew when to pop over to our table.. not a bad selection of drinks (hot, cold, with it without alcohol). Would likely visit again.. Really down to earth vibes yet quite classy too!"
"Very modern bar design with excellent staff and there was even a Live DJ in our section playing excellent music. Things start to fall down on the food. It was slow coming out, you had to get your own salt & pepper etc at the bar counter, the salt came out of the packets in lumps because the area was effectively out door roof top, it was too expensive and the food was rubbish, boring and completely lacking creativity. Burger and chips, fish and chips, chicken and chips etc etc... Not a vegetable to be seen anywhere. Someone needs to tell chefs that food advertised as, "fish & chips with mushy peas" with 10 peas in a tiny ramekin is not cute or fancy or, as advertised! Remember the good old days of being offered potatoes and vegetables as an option with your main course! How difficult can it be to offer a roast for Sunday lunch as a alternative to this rubbish that now seems to be mainstream. My daughter 15yrs old wanted to leave when she read the menu but it took us so long to get to our seats on the roof I just couldn't be bothered. I should have listened. Lazy, boring food, can do better."
