"The Auld Triangle is a great location for lunch or dinner and as we were passing through Macroom we decided to stop by and see what they had to offer and we were not disappointed. The premises is very clean and the staff were friendly and attentive! The manager came to every table to check and see how everyone's meal was which is a nice touch! I got the Fish and Chips, beautifully batter and flaky fish with mushy peas, tartar sauce and a side of chips. Just what I wanted for lunch! My partner has a toasted sandwich and my parents had the friend mushrooms and fish and chips as well! For dessert my partner and I got the chocolate cake which I really enjoyed. Its not a chocolate fudge style cake which some people may prefer, see the images to get a sense of what the cake is like. I quite enjoyed this cake along with some cream and I didn't feel bloated or overindulged from it, it was just perfect! And the little pot of tea helped wash it all down! The one thing I would like to see change is that non dairy options be added for teas and coffees! They only had dairy and my partner is lactose intolerant. I will definitely call back when passing through Macroom!"
