Reviews
"Lovely woodland walk on the outskirts of Midleton Town. The path around takes about 40 minutes to go at your leisure. Nice safe spot to take the kids for a ramble and a picnic. Small carpark at the entrance to the walk."
"Love these woods. Since Coillte took them over, the paths are in much better condition. Even when the weather is bad, it doesn't get mucky and there is good coverage from the canopy"
"These woods are a very pleasant place to walk. The main trail runs in a loop just inside the boundary of the woods. This is mostly flat, but has a short steep section at the northern end of the eastern leg, alongside the river estuary. You can stay on the flat by taking the left path on entry (i.e. heading east), and then taking the first turn to the right. That will take you down to the path at the southern boundary, and you can walk east from there to the only bench in the park and access to the shore of the estuary, or west to make a circuit."
"Well maintained woods only a minute away from Midleton. Easy accessible on foot and probably on bycicle too. Roughly 3 km in total."
"Ballyanan woods is a great place to go walking and running I love going there."
