"I am currently spending several weeks in this beautiful country. Today my sat navigation didn't work properly and its happened randomly that i be resting on the nearby bridge. it was the most random place I've discovered so far. i spent over an hour there and enjoyed the silence and the beautiful place."
"Had a nice coffee and cake. Found the staff very friendly."
"Lovely spot to just sit and listen to the water flowing by."
"Beautiful little spot for a stop over"
"2 parts to the Mass Rock / famine walk. Very short walk down to mass rock. Historically gorgeous & relaxing to sit or picnic by the river. On the opposite side of the road is a 2km ish walk - famine walk. Follow the grass path, over a small bridge, take a left & then follow the line of the river. Up over the steps. Follow the river again. There's a narrow steel gurder "bridge" to over the river. Head up the trail along the farmers fence/ditch to the 2nd oldest consecrated holy ground in Ireland- famine cemetery. Beautiful scenery along the way. Buzzards, river trout & other native Irish birds & wildlife & mud!!! Great funny. Not Suitable for buggies. Dogs on leads at all times. I would highly recommend it."
