"Brought two (new) tyres to be fitted to rims, which were already off the car (in the boot)...price €40 (agreed prior to the work and Cash-into-hand). The older man there just seemed to pick a random price off the top of his head. My wife went in few months later and did the same, but with half used tyres...price €20 (receipt given) So is this another crowd that feel that they are entitled to a cut off the price of new tyres that one may source and purchase oneself? Note: I must say that our tyres are Run-flats and nobody ever stocks them, which is why I keep a spare pair at home at all times. I cannot fault the workmanship and the tyres were also balanced (not that I even asked for that). Also my tyres were not fitted to my car (my choice) and I took the old tyres home with me (put up onto the silage pit).....so there should not have been a disposal fee either."
