Reviews
"Having read a very negative review of the food here, left only yesterday, I was unsure as to how my experience would be. This being said, my boyfriend and I shared a chowder, a scampi, and some other light bites. Everything was absolutely amazing and the chowder was the star of the show. Despite not being the typical creamy chowder that I am used to, the chef explained that the chowder consisted of a flavourful broth packed with fish, prawns and mussels. It was amazing and I am told a speciality of the area in place of a typical creamy chowder. We will definitely be back!"
"I'll definitely be back to stay a night. Just stopped for tea passing through. I'd sink a heap of pints with a view like that!"
"Great location, staff, accommodation, food ale. All good. All at a reasonable price too."
"Gorgeous little place, feels like you are on the edge of the world. We stayed in the accomadation upstairs which had the most amazing views. A delicious cooked breakfast in the morning and seaweed baths into the wellness centre next door. Well worth a visit."
"A large restaurant with tons of seating inside. There are also tables on the front deck/porch, and they put picnic tables along the road on the harbor side when the weather is nice. The place is bright and airy and they have a great menu plus daily specials. Lots of seafood options. I tried hake for the first time. It was meaty and moist and flavorful. It was served with chips and a fresh side salad. My husband enjoyed the healthy seafood chowder -- not the creamy variety. It said it was a nice variation. He followed it with a seafood pasta dish. Everything was fresh, the service was great, the location is excellent. There's also a full bar."
