"The less liquor stores we have the better because they promote our dreadful and insidious Irish drink culture with all its problems. Too many places now in Carrigaline where you can buy alcohol. With all the pubs, supermarkets which sell an enormous amount of alcohol and these off-licences in Carrigaline the Carrigaline town commissioners would be better off renaming it the Alcoholicaline and not Carrigaline. More and more places sell alcohol and its terrible effects on the individual and society."
