"Do not book this guy under any circumstance. We booked a bouncy castle for our 6 years old birthday months in advance. We confirmed the castle on the Wednesday before the Saturday party and then on the Friday night he cancelled, and somehow suggested it was our fault as when he rang to confirm the castle on Thursday we didn't answer (we only confirmed the day previous) and when we returned the missed call nobody picked up. I got lucky and managed to find a local man who could provide a castle for us. When I spoke to the local man on the phone, he asked was this Mr Cool who let you down and when I responded yes, he informed that he has had this type of phone call at least 20 times after Mr Cool cancelled, including from a bride who was let down for her wedding. You might also notice the owner responded to a review "I can't deliver 50 castles to 50 different locations on the one day." which only confirms what I was told about him. What I was told is he double books and then he picks and chooses the bookings that best suit him, making it a complete lottery as to if you will see your booking fulfilled. So please do yourself a favour and find another provider, as it will be a complete roll of the dice in regards if your booking get fulfilled. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Response to the model professional that is Mr Cool, by all accounts, every weekend, you let numerous customers down; I'm sure it would be impossible to keep track of them all—you poor little pet. A quick gander at your reviews shows a consistent pattern over the years, and long before COVID, so please spare me the BS. In our case, it was not during COVID. Now I know you are a bit slow and not exactly the sharpest tool in the box, so please take a deep breath and keep up with this simple concept I will share. IF YOU HAVE STAFF SHORTAGES AT ANY TIME AND ARE UNABLE TO FULFIL ORDERS, THEN PERHAPS YOU MIGHT CONSIDER TAKING A FEW FEWER BOOKINGS. You see, simple! Problem avoided. I'll repeat it to give you a better chance of taking it in. IF YOU HAVE STAFF SHORTAGES AT ANY TIME AND ARE UNABLE TO FULFIL ORDERS, THEN PERHAPS YOU MIGHT CONSIDER TAKING A FEW FEWER BOOKINGS. But no, that's not your business model. It is your model to turn no booking down, over book and then and if anyone cancels, no problem; you had overbooked anyway. Come the weekend, you'll figure out which orders are further away and let them down. Oh, and perhaps if one of those customers manages to get you on the phone, you can laugh at them down the phone as you did in my instance when I rightly got irate. FYI, I did look to leave a review on your Facebook page where we came across your business. Funnily enough you don't allow reviews on that platform."

"We booked a bouncy castle with a slide and Mr. Cool cancelled within 48hrs of our booking date. He said his friend would take booking but it was a smaller castle with no slide and more expensive!!! Response to reply: less than 48hrs before my booking date is NOT plenty of notice. A smaller castle, without slide and more expensive is not a like for like alternative Your excuse was lack of staff!!!"

"I ordered the balloon bouncy castle last minute for my 3 yr olds birthday. They said that they will drop it off Saturday morning and to their word the bouncy castle arrived at 9am to two excited girls looking out the window for it. They had it up in no time. We had such a fabulous weekend. I would definitely recommend Mr Cool events for any party. I’d give them 10/10."
