"Do not recommend at all, insanely over priced. We got two bags of chocolates (3 chocolates in each bag) and 1 hot chocolate. Total price was €37!!! Had to throw away most of hot chocolate as was way too thick, like drinking a melted piece of chocolate. And the milk hazelnut chocolates were only mediocre (told there was praline inside, only hard chocolate). The owner was very rude, talking constantly and complaining about how bad ireland was and telling us to move to Canada. Took us ages to even get to look at the chocolates because he wouldn't stop talking. Do not go here total rip off and unpleasant experience."
"I visited the shop today and while the experience was great for the most part, it was completely spoiled at the end when the retailer told me off for taking a sample in the wrong way. I was supposed to wait for him to pass it to me. I had asked if I could have another sample for my husband and the retailer said yes; but he did not tell me to wait nor was there a sign asking customers not to take samples. The retailer was very annoyed and told me the whole jar would have to be thrown in the bin! It left a very sour aftertaste to what should have been a sweet experience. A simple note beside the jars to explain is all it would take to avoid confusion."
"I brought home two kinds of chocolate from here for my family -- the milk caramel and the dark cashew. They LOVED both of them! My mother says it's some of the best chocolate she's ever had. And the owner is absolutely lovely. He was so helpful as I was trying to pick out from the many, many, MANY options on display. I never expected to find some of the best chocolate of my travels in rural Ireland, but there you go! Also, if you like dark coffee, order a cup of their Vietnamese coffee while you shop!"
"A friend of mine bought some chocolate here and brought back to Dundalk. I liked it so asked my friend where she got these delicious chocolate. Stopped by here on my trip, I loved the Dark chocolate 70% with sea salt, my partner liked the caramel with roasted nuts. A bit pricey but tasted much better than chocolate in supermarket so worth it. Would come again next time when we are in Bantry. Also very good environment, next time I would have a latte and relax for an hour here ."
"amazing small coffee place, huge variety of handmade chocolates and one we tried was very tasty. We got white chocolate with vanilla and it tasted like a vanilla ice cream. And free cappuccino is great offer...customer service very good, staff polite and helpful"
