"Was involved in the attempted return of shoes that fell apart during first wear which were bought by my friend - absolutely appalling approach by management and being a local made absolutely no difference to her. I wanted to take it to small claims court as clear breach of consumer law but my friend wanted quiet life. Cheap zero quality shoes at high cost with the customer service to match!"

I didn't wear them all the time as I changed when i got home in the evenings after work and had different ones on over Christmas. They were cheapish enough but still €25, I though I get the winter out of them, not less than 4 months. :("
