"We arranged a last minute slot for a 40 minute ride by phone (confirmed via text) for 25 € (cash only) and it was a great experience. Everyone helpful and friendly and a well stocked tack room with helmets, boots and wests free to choose from. The group of beginners was taught some basics including a few rounds navigating the arena, before riding down to the beach and back across the farm. If we had more time we'd definitely book the 60 or 120 min tour."

"I can totally concur with Marlene's comments, feom a week ago, about Xenia and Michael and Dromquinna Stables. We rode with them on Tuesday, May 17th and our experience was equally as wonderful as Marlene's. Two of us had ridden before, one quite a bit more than the other, and our other two riders had never ridden before. Xenia and Michael chose our mounts carefully and each was well suited to our riding ability. The horses are all well cared for and the stables are very organized for riding treks. We each chose our hats and boots and were ready for the ride. I was very impressed with the instruction that was given to our group. Xenia and Michael take the time to ensure that even a 1st timer feels comfortable on their horse and knows what to do. We had a fun practise lesson in the ring before we left on the trail to ensure everyone felt confident and could control their horse. This was impressive as many other stables don't take the time to do this before a trail ride. Our horses were well behaved and responsive, a thoroughly enjoyable ride was had by all. Xenia and Michael are both fun and informative during the ride. They provided much information on the local flora and fauna as well as Irish history. I was very happy that I had a chance to head out for a nice canter with Xenia as I am the only rider in our group comfortable at that level. It is lovely to find a stable which can readily accommodate very different riding abilities. We all thoroughly enjoyed our ride and would highly recommend Dromquinna Stables. The love and care for their horses is evident. Thank you, Xenia and Michael, for a lovely ride out."
