"Captain is Picasso behind the wheel. Take you all around both islands and gives you the opportunities for the best possible photo. Skellig Michael is wonderful as expected."
"First class service from ballinskelligs pier . The tour operators were great people , great vessel also ( forceawakens) They took us into all the nooks and crannys around both skelligs before we even landed ,got some great pics . Another ticked off the bucket list ."
"Expensive boat Fee but it is totally worth it. We went there from Ballinskelligs with the force awakens. The captain David is a really nice guy and tried to leave as early as possible to get there in time. We had nearly finished our Tour when the big pack of tourist arrives and could focus us on the Puffins at the bottom"
"I had a great time on their Landing Tour on Skellig Micheal, the site of an ancient monastery, filming locations for Star Wars Episodes VII and VIII, an exhilarating short hike, and puffins. Lots of puffins. Things to know: - Book in advance, at least 4 months. When I went there were maybe 50 tourists on the island, and there are only a few boat operators including these guys. - Your tour guide may attempt to call or text you, even up to the day prior of your trip, to change the schedule or cancel. My tour was moved an hour earlier which was fine, but pay attention and make sure you give them a number that'll receive SMS in Ireland. - There's a toilet on the boat (which is named Force Awakens) but all 12 passengers must remain together so they won't let you use it on approach when you'd be holding up the others. Despite naming their boat after one of the films, there's not much particularly Star Wars-y about this tour. It's probably for the better, but if you're expecting a guide on a megaphone to tell you about Mark Hamill complaining about the number of steps he had to climb during the shoot... You won't get that. Any questions you have MIGHT get answered. Luckily there's actually 3G data service on the island itself if you have to Google something. In terms of the price, 100 β¬ is quite steep for a ride and an orbit around the two very unique islands, but you're paying for a crew of 2 to ensure your safety and wait around for you as you hike around for 2 hours on the island and an hour each way of choppy waters. However, you're unlikely to get this experience elsewhere and the crew of Force Awakens are professional and personable."
