"Hands down, the best pub in all of Ireland! Visited on a Sunday and had the most delicious roast beef Sunday dinner, with a crisp and hot homemade Yorkshire pudding, gravy, garlic roastie potatoes, carrots, broccoli, and cabbage. Also had the chicken main which had mushrooms, carrot purée, mash potato, and tarragon, and was mouth-watering delicious. For dessert we had the Bailey’s bread and butter pudding, which was out of this world! Soft, squidgy, incredibly flavourful without being overly sweet, with fresh blueberries, a lemony vanilla cream, raspberry sauce and chocolate sauce, and a bit of crunch from meringue drops. Loved watching the hurling match on the tv, as well. Absolutely fantastic staff- so so friendly and helpful! Would 11/10 recommend this place, and would happily hop a flight back to Ireland just to dine in this pub!"

"Had a truly outstanding Sunday lunch here yesterday at the fantastic Overdraught as a family of four. We had sumptuous and generous rib eye beef Roast of the Day with homemade Yorkshire pudding and trimmings, amazing crispy chicken sandwich, very accommodating for smallie who had her best ever gnocchi, then amazing ice-cream etc. On top of that, I have to call out the service - Lisa was great from the moment she took our booking til we left full and very happy. She is a breath of fresh air - the epitome of great customer service, waiting staff too. And if all that wasn't enough, it was pretty reasonable too. All in all, I challenge anyone to find a better Sunday lunch anywhere in all of Cork - better than anything in Kinsale, City, Douglas, West Cork and surrounds. Hats off to ye, we'll be back!"
