"This premises is an example of how a bar / restaurant should be presented and ran. The place is spotless and shining with every piece of brass and furniture sparkling. Service was a bit slow but that doesn't matter if your out for a relaxing time."

"Beautiful pub with fantastic food. I am especially fussy about my chips but these were some of the best I've ever tasted. Will definitely return. I would've given it 5* except for the fact we had scampi and chips and chicken wings and chips, both as mains with one pint of Guinness and one pint of red lemonade and the tab came to €50 On thinking of it once we'd left and recalling prices on the menu that'd mean our two drinks came to €14, which doesn't seem quite right. Still, it's a great little pub turning out really good pub food. Staff are also friendly. Highly recommend."

"I would recommend visiting this quaint and very stylish bar if you are passing. The décor is such that no photos can do it justice as the wood and lighting make it a sight to behold. When we arrived it was quite busy but we were well seen to by an older gent who placed us on the bar until a table became available. Food is nothing to rave about but it tasted good and was well presented. Well worth a visit."

"Two stars for the amazing pub itself. Truely one of the coziest spots going! It looses out big time because of the pig ignorance of the old lad behind the bar, we were just after a long walk and came in whilst the place was quiet for some tea, coffee and some soft drinks. He walked past us about ten times, ignoring us. When I went to the bar to ask for his help. This ignorant so and so literally sighed and agreed to take our order, and actually forgot two drinks. We decided to get food in the end, and because of the way we were ignored and made feel by him, we left and had lovely food up the road. Lovely bar. Rude, ignorant barman."

"Me and the wife stopped here while we were on Vacation. I personally found this place a great surprise. I had a steak that was delicious, it came with a pepper sauce that was amazing. Honestly the best meal I’ve had here in Ireland."
