"Hi Una I would like to share my experience how I was treated today by one of your staff Agnes I had ask where they busy which was tolded yeah to see a single table available and a four seater available then I ask again by another girl to say do you mind sitting here “not at all” Then another girl on her own straight behind me and they gave her the four seater after telling me different serve her first then came to me and I said I’ll have the chicken to turn around and say their was none to find out their was Your staff also when going away had asked for a takeaway lemon meringue and this is what I got Terrible and very unprofessional they are vile pieces of work. And this is what I got in my shamrock bag just not good enough we all should be treated equally but this did not happen in your establishment today. So next time I’m in I hope to be treated with decency and respect I’m a paying customer. Thanks very much"
"the turnip mash tasted very heavily of fairy liquid (green version). Could not finish my meal"
"All staff are very friendly and welcoming and not just as it's their job Lovely food and plenty of it at reasonable prices Highly recommended"
"Great choice of food, good value and helpful staff can't fault and won't be hungry leaving"
"The food was grand and the portions were big, you won't leave here hungry. Price of food was also cheap coming in at around €12 or €13 per main course. It's hard to fault for what it is, an upmarket Cafe essentially but this is not fine dining. This is packets of salt in dispensers, the same for ketchup and vinegar. It's a throwback to an old fashioned Irish big feed of potatoes and meat and nothing wrong with it. It stands out in the town alone as this kind of establishment and does very well. I would go back. Stick to water for drink with your food, four cans of Coke and 7up added €11.40 to cost which is a a bit steep for something that can be bought for less than a euro in any kind of bulk."
