"On the plus side, the man who served me was nice and friendly. However, serving food during a pandemic you would expect gloves, a hat, and a mask a some point. The poor rating is based on the food quality. I remember when younger I would order chips and the flavours of freshly made chips with salt and vinegar would explode in my mouth. So with this memory and a desperate hunger, I looked expectantly at the chips I ordered. Unfortunately, the chips tatsed like they'd been reheated more than once and prepared in an oil that was well past its changing date. Not trying to be cruel but I had about one quarter of the pack and left the rest, despite my hunger. Disappointed as the chipper looks lovely and well kept , and with a tweak it could be much better. Maybe i caught them on a bad day."
"It is the best fish and chips i have seen in Ireland. The staff and the owners( Two brithers) are very nice and kind. You can eat fish, chicken, sandwich, pizza and more and more. If you love the food it is the right place. I would suggest to every one to go."
"Chips are always good here , just got my daughter chicken tenders this evening, which were the worst I've ever tasted, the chicken didn't taste like chicken and the batter was really thick and not crunchy like it should be. As I said never tasted worse."
"Remember back to your school lunches when you could buy a little small white tray of chips for 80pence, well its just like that... only they cost €3.80! The few chips we got in the portion were nice though, but the rest of the food was only ok. Very disappointing especially given the price we were charged! The dearest take away we have ever been in, no wonder the place looks so nice! On a positive note, the lady behind the counter was very friendly. Other than that, never again! Not for those prices."
