"Very bad experience, I entered and was slightly early for my movie, and had to be questioned so I could go to the toilet and was questioned in a very rude manner. At the till as I bought my ticket, my order for popcorn was forgotten, and I ended up taking the wrong popcorn, the staff then asked in a very rude manner to bring the popcorn back, and I explained my situation. I got my popcorn, but with a lot of hassle and effort, the popcorn was also quite dry and boring with little flavour. Extremely disappointed with my experience here, particularly with the staff."
"Went to watch ‘An Cailín Ciúin’ last night. Found the staff very good and friendly. There’s a speaker in screen 7 that buzzes really loudly, so any quiet part of the film, it was really noticeable. The whole cinema seems in disrepair to be honest. Food and drink are mad expensive, but I guess that’s how they make their money. Toilets were clean, but again the staff seemed to be a credit to the place, so it’s not a surprise that they keep them clean. Staff 9/10. Building 4/10. Viewing experience 5/10."
"Screen 1 is great for an in-depth experience. Other screens are good as well. Odeon saver really saves money with tickets."
"I watched the new Avatar film last night in the Ocean and it was class. However the cinema was freezing. No heating whatsoever. And the staff didn't warn us either. Had they done so we could have brought in our heavy coats from the car or else just gone home. We took our seats at 7:30pm and didn't leave the cinema until almost 11pm. Three and a half hours sitting in the cold. At one stage, when returning from the toilet I noticed a small sign on the door saying that the cinema was colder than usual and that the issue was being addressed. A review from 4 weeks ago complains about the cold so nothing has happened in 4 weeks at least. And there was no staff around when we were leaving. Not good enough. Cinema is always a great night out but no more in the Ocean. Be advised."
