"One of the most favorite parts of our trip was staying here unexpectedly. Our original booking made a mistake so I called up Blue Door House and they had a room. We showed up in 20 minutes and we were greeted by hosts, Anja and Gary, with hot tea (and maybe some whiskey) and a hot fireplace. They were so welcoming and friendly with fun stories, their spacious and modern house was a welcome respite from a long day of traveling, and the homegrown breakfast of wild arugula and fresh chicken eggs was more than I could ask for. The farm animals and dogs on site were a delight and even though the weather was not our friend we still enjoyed the views from their back yard. I almost don’t want to tell people about this place as wonderful as it is!"
