"My husband and I returned to this restaurant whilst on our holidays in August 2022. We travelled from Northern Ireland and made sure to stay in Tralee when we knew the restaurant would be opened to dine in. Again the food and service were exceptional and we very much enjoyed our evening there. Again we had a pleasant conversation with Angela catching up from our previous visit. We enjoyed the traditional Malaysia cuisine and will definitely return again when we next visit Tralee. Would definitely recommend this restaurant for either sit in or takeaway as both are exceptional."

"Tamarind is a great place if you like Asian cuisine. They have a huge menu with a great selection of Asian dishes from Japan, China, Malaysia and etc. The staff is super friendly and nice. The seating area is nice and they also have a takeaway - you can order food online and collect it in 15 mins. Super fresh and delicious!"

"Love this place! Have had takeaway a handful of times. Excellent customer service. One of the curries I order had spilt in the bag and they had a replacement over within 20 mins. The food is very tasty, good portion of protein (meat, tofu), a little bit salty. Tried the Mee Goreng, Pad Thai, and Matsaman curry. Also, tried Ikan Bakar fish, not dry curry as described. Overall, HIGHLY recommend."

"Went back twice, it was gorgeous. My sister and I thought the food was beautiful. BBQ ribs, Spring Rolls, Chicken Satay, Fried Rice, Noodles, Banana Frittters and Ice Cream, Chinese Beer. Two lovely ladies served us. Very helpful and so friendly. Suggested some lovely places to see which we did. Place very clean. We felt very safe as phone number taken, the correct distance for sitting. Masks worn. If I could give it a higher number I would. When I visit Tralee again, I definitely will be going there. Go hungry, you won't be disappointed."
