"Great lodgings up on a slope. We booked it for a night at the last minute having decided to cut short our two nights in Cork city. The landlord was really friendly and helpful, the room a good size, nice decor. Coffee and tea facilities with a sweet snack, and the little fridge, all great. Good toiletries were provided. The shower could do with updating (there's a curtain). The property itself is attractive. The location is great and there's onsite parking which is a boon. There is some construction going on opposite but it didn't bother us as we were not in the room during the day. We were very pleased with our choice."

"Short: 15/10. Impressive house with character. Impeccable hosts. Very comfy room and bed. Has all amenities, little comforts and more. Amazing views. Proof is in the photos. Will visit again. Detailed: James and Melissa are amazing hosts. Messaged me updates of the room, checking in on my arrival, gave directions to the B&B, and notified me, by stroke of luck, that the room was ready earlier. I arrived to yellow door to be greeted by Melissa with big warm smiles and a thorough introduction, accompanied by the silent concierge that is Juju, the white poodle. The living room was stately and impressive, I couldn't help admire the art and decor. The house/bungalow is so beautiful, in and out. My room and bathroom had everything and more. Strong WiFi. Lovely fine china set of beverages hot chocolate, French press coffees and aromatic teas. The bed set was luxurious. The bathroom was equipped with quality towels, soaps, shampoos and lotion. Quality toilet rolls. The window view is a postcard shot of Kinsale. Breathtaking. Place was quiet, no disturbance at all. Had a perfect quiet time to myself to unwind, relax and get plenty of rest."
