"This is a very special place. The island itself is an untouched piece of heaven ready to be explored and admired by foot. Roaring water Lodge is a home on the island. Within minutes you feel part of the island having met Craig and Claudia. The pace is slow here so you cannot help but become relaxed. The room was so beautiful with amazing views and the stylish en suite is very cool. We had Craig's amazing pizzas and Claudia's amazing deserts as well as a really full - full Irish and veggie Irish for breaky. There is a hot tube just by the water that is so inviting and always hot. We fell in love with the place getting to know the other guests and the locals and ready to book again for next summer. "We spent an idyllic 6 days at Roaring Water Lodge under the care of Craig and Claudia. We absolutely loved it. The place is on the remote and stunningly beautiful Heir Island. If you want to to get away from the rush of life, this is the spot to go."
"Beautiful place in a beautiful location. Lovely rooms, snug lounge with a stove to heat it. Great continental breakfast including fresh fruit salad, natural Yoghurt, artisan breads and huge range of cereals (fully cooked was also available but I didn't have that)... Ideal place to get away from it all."
