"Dear whomever this may concern, I have just had a bad experience with a blonde older member of staff working the evening of November 18th. I just turned 18 years of age and wanted to buy a drink for my friend who was turning 18 the following day as a gift. When we reached the self checkout, we were met with some snarky comments about our ages, we thought nothing of it but this proceeded to carry on throughout our checking out experience. I already knew I was going to have to present ID, which I did without question when asked, which again brought about more smart comments about the validation of the driver’s license I showed, “that means nothing to me”. After paying, the security tag has to be removed the bottle and as she took the bottle she rolled her eyes at us, which was very immature and put us in an uncomfortable position with people starting to stare. This attitude was uncalled for as we did nothing to bring about this behaviour. As we were leaving there seemed to be an issue with payment, which was in the end not our fault, but she called us from across the hall very aggressively, drawing more unwanted attention to us once again. We resolved this unnecessary issue, but were again spoken to as if we had done something wrong. As we were trying to get our point across she would interrupt rudely, trying to invalidate out explanation. This made our simple shopping experience very difficult and unenjoyable. We left the store in very bad spirits, confused and deflated by the whole situation at hand. Safe to say, we will not be returning to the store after that experience. I hope this behaviour can be dealt with as it is truly unprofessional, no one deserves to be treated this way."

"Five Stars for Holly. I generally don't find the staff friendly in this store but I was delighted to be greeted in the Self Service tills section by a very pleasant and helpful employee named Holly. Sadly she told me it was her last day working in Tesco."

"This small Tesco Express is very convenient in the town centre for picking up a few things. As it is a Tesco Express it is a bit more expensive than a Tesco. No customer toilets and no free parking available."
