"The hotel itself was beautiful, in the middle of the town, close to the cinema, shoos etc. Parking however was very limited do had to park in a near-by carpark which made it difficult with bags , pram and all that goes with baby. Overall however, it wad a very comfortable, friendly and relaxed experience"
"Lovely hotel, reasonably priced. food was good. A good vibe hotel. Room was very nice. Its only downfall would be its parking. Although i had a parking space in the underground car park. I would stay here again."
"The layout of this bar is not really suited to big groups.. this is the 2nd time we arrived at the bar for lunch and both times our group of five adults and 4 children had to be seated at 2 and 3 tables consecutively. That said, there's a reason we went back and will go back again. There's a varied menu and the food is lovely. I had the goats cheese for my main course and itbwas delicious. The staff are pleasant and helpful and the wait times between courses is short. The only complaint I'd have about the food was that 5 of us ordered chocolate brownies for dessert and when they arrived, it seemed that they might have run short on them. It looked like someone had cut up the brownies and shared them out on 5 plates when really it looked like there were only enough brownies for about 3 people. Like I already said though, we'll be back again."
"The good - Location spot on, receptionists nice, spa bath nice. The bad - Hotel feels old, creaky floors, king bed was 2 singles pushed together and the beds were rock hard, I had a hard back for days afterwards. Drills and alarms going off at 10am waking you up. Parking - I went when it was off peak and parking was a nightmare then, don't dare move your car if you find a space. I can only imagine the chaos in the summer!!! So some good, some bad. Much improvement needed."
"Always love to eat here as the food is amazing . But on my recent visit which was 17/12/2022 didn't have the best experience on our arrival . Met a member of staff who's name was Patrick he was extremely rude when I asked if there was a table available. I had rang a week previous about making a reservation as with this time of year I wasn't sure and was told over the phone that it was still walk in only. We didn't feel welcome at all and he made us very uncomfortable in front of other customers. We found a table for 2 ourselves and our servers thankfully were very pleasant so it wont turn me off going back here. But in his position he could be a bit more friendlier, maybe he was just having a bad day or the job was a little stressful but that's no reason to be ignorant."
