"Fantastic host and great B&B. We were booked for two nights and the only downside to our stay was that we didn't book an extra night . Despite arriving after the check-in time, with no notice, Anne accommodated our late arrival enthusiastically. The location is excellent, only a few minutes' walk to the town centre. There are very nice views from the house and a patio area to sit out. The rooms are very well equipped, with tea and coffee. The home-cooked breakfast was of a very high quality and there was also an array of home-cooked breads, pastries and fruit on offer. Anne is incredibly friendly and will gladly offer local advice on places to eat as well as visit. I highly recommend Tara Farm B&B and the host, Anne, to everybody!"

"I left a review on Airbnb for my experience in this B&B. For context this is what I wrote: "Anne was a great host, was a bit disappointed on the room, based on the picture, Bedroom 5 is in the Attic but we were located downstairs which didn't have the view as we expected. The breakfast was also quite disappointing, we were asked for Tea & Coffee but was not offered hot breakfast, there was no menu so weren't sure if they offered hot breakfast so we just ate the cereal and yogurt that was available. Overall, stay was okay, room was clean and place is quiet." I thought it was fair review, I was being honest about my experience. Then I got a surprise call today at work from Anne, she called me with utter frustration, threatened me that she will bring this up to her legal about my review, did not even let me talk, lied about and made an excuse about the original room reservation(never told me at the check-in that the room was actually not the one we booked), told me to never to contact her, book and recommend the place and hang up. I could only laugh as I didn't know why she got so angry at me for leaving her a constructive review of my experience, instead of apologizing and ensuring that they'll try and improve the service for future customers, she called me and lashed out. I never had dealt with someone like this before. For 2 weeks we hopped on 6 B&B, this was by far the worst experience we had as a couple."

"My husband and I stayed here for 2 nights as part of our week long Ireland trip. This was my favorite place of the 5 locations we stayed and I would have gladly stayed longer in this paradise. The breakfast was incredible! The host made the best french toast I have ever had by far. There was a menu to choose from and there were gourmet cheeses, a huge selection of fruit, cereal, yogurt, and many drinks. The hosts were extremely friendly and helpful. I picked this place because of the view and it didn't disappoint. From our window we could see the coast, hills, mountains, farms, and their beautifully landscaped property. We didn't get to walk down to the water like the description said but the rest of the experience made up for it. The door handles to our room and bathroom screeched loudly. That was the one and only flaw of the house. Everything was neat and clean. The bed was comfortable. The town of Kenmare was full of great restaurants and a perfect location to visit the Killarney National Park and the Ring of Kerry. I would come back here and recommend this place to anyone. Thank you for a wonderful stay."
