"This place is just magic , from start to finish we loved it . The weather was horrific but it made us even cozier . The welcome was second to none Tracy and Pete are so lovely , I felt very zen in their presence and i really feel the magic of the place has made them this peaceful . They have done such a lovely job with the grounds and the bell tent was super clean , cosy and had everything you would need . We did our research so we knew there were no showers with the camping , shops or restaurants on the island , so I am a little confused at another reviewer leaving a low score for these reasons ! The place is a total Eden, even in very bad weather and the food was utterly delicious . We will absolutely be back again and hopefully this time we can time a bit of good weather to capture a magic west cork sunset ! Thank you so much again we and the doggie had a great time ."

"This was not for me, however the views were fabulous. This might suit yoga enthusiasts and eco friendly people. Bing wellies and lots of warm clothing++. Can be very cold. I even brought a hot water bottle and two wooly blankets plus duvet. There's a hot tub( 100 euro per night), needs booking a day before, at least.This is heated by wood not electric. Meals need to be booked a day in advance and dropped to your tent. Not my thing at all. Nor restaurants or shops on the island. Just so you know there's only dirt pathways and the ferry only brings foot passengers to the island. Would l go back ...no definitely no...."

"The island has amazing views, Pete and Tracey are such down to earth people with great view on island life”true islanders” I will definitely return. Sleeping arrangements are very cozy and with all the essentials provided I went when the weather wasn’t great and still had an unbelievable experience"

"What a beautiful venue. Tracy and Pete have performed a minor miracle renovating this place. Beautiful campsite, the best roast dinner I've had in 20 years (since my dear old mum stopped cooking!), and the most wonderful homemade cake I think I've ever had (coffee and cardomen)!! I thoroughly enjoyed a walk round the island. All in all, a wonderful trip."
