"What a hidden gem Carbery cottage is! Where do we start. From the welcome to the goodbye, everything was perfect. Mike and Julia are the nicest, friendliest and most accommodating hosts you could find. We were so eager to come to a pet friendly b&b for the first time and it certainly didn’t disappoint. Our dog Lola was treated like a princess and had an amazing time exploring the grounds and the surrounding areas with us including a dog friendly pub not too far away. The friendly atmosphere in the house is indescribable as guests sit together and have chats with each other in the sitting room and dining room. We even had the pleasure of meeting a new doggie friend for Lola and some of the resident animals too. We have and will continue to recommend Carbery cottage to everyone. Highly recommended!"
"Absolutely spectacular stay in this beautiful lodge. Set in the most idyllic of settings, the welcome was incredible and they could not have been more attentive. This is how ALL dog friendly holidays should be, a separate space for more nervous dogs, the best walks in all of Ireland, an agility course and the food was divine! I wish I could have stayed for a month (or a year). Absolutely wonderful! Thank you for an unforgettable stay."
"We really enjoyed our stay at Carbery Cottage. Mike and Julia are wonderful hosts. Nothing is too much trouble for them. The rooms are clean and comfortable. Their breakfasts and evening meals were delicious. It's a lovely spot and very animal friendly. We would highly recommend it to anyone looking to stay in the area."
"Very dog friendly. Fantastic views. Mike and Julia were excellent hosts and made us very welcome including the dog. Access to kitchen at all times to make a coffee or tea was a bonus especially the jar of homemade flapjacks. Would definitely recommend"
