"This is a hostel located just few miles from Rossbeigh beach. The place is well maintained with a friendly staff. From my room I could have a view of the beautiful strand (weather permitting). This hostel is the ideal place for those planning to enjoy the magnificent gems located all over the Ring of Kerry. I would warmly recommend this hostel to families."

"This hostel made me uncomfortable the entire time I was here. Now admittedly, I was the only guest, but even so the place was... odd. I tried to call in advance, but was hung up on twice by a woman who I wouldnt later meet (she confirmed I had the right number too!) I arrived and there wasn’t anybody there. Now granted, I hadn’t booked ahead(not for lack of trying), and evidently nobody else had, as the owner happened to show up ~10 minutes after I did, and seemed very surprised to see me. He was lovely, very nice man, let me in, showed me around, brought me to my room. Then I took a shower and when I came down he was gone, car and all. The room was relatively nice, but this place was massive, and the small room felt quite clinical. The common room could have been lifted from 1998, and though it has two ancient computers, I couldn’t get either of them started. Not only was no breakfast provided as was advertised (there were porridge oats left out but no milk in the fridge), the kitchen itself was locked up until 90 minutes after I was told it would be open, when it was opened by a rude employee who seemed offended that I would stay the night in the hostel. Overall, a very strange experience. Wouldn’t come back if you paid me."

"Definitely need to give a shout out to Chris, our host. Who so graciously went out of his way to make mine and my 13 year old autistic child feel so welcome. It was more like being at home than a hostel. Definitely recommend it to anyone looking to spend a few nights in an affordable clean and friendly place. Plus, it's just a few minutes from the gorgeous beach Rossbeigh. Walking distance to restaurants, cafes and even pubs. Loved it."

"The location is pretty nice, but the rules inside the hostel are very strict and not all rules are clear. We were told the kitchen is closed at 10 am, and that is not mentioned anywhere. We were also constantly and rudely told to leave shared spaces at times when most people actually wanted to use them. I don't recommend this place at the current time."
