Anam Sona SeaView B&B , Bantry, County Cork P75 AE80

"This B&B is absolutely amazing. Location is very good as it is excelent location if you want to do Ring of Beara, or go to Eyeries and Allihies or even as we did the Dursey Island. Anja and Karsten, the owners are very kind and loveably people with amazing knowledge about the local area and not only. Rooms are on the first floor, superb in size, very clean, comfortable beds and house is very warm, we have visited during October Bank Holiday and house was well over 23 degrees. Windows are properly isolated, so no winds gusting around. Everything is thought throughout very well. Even like the use of the tv with detailed instructions, labels in the bathroom, remainding about saving water and COV-19 care. There are board games available in the room, neatly prepared information folders about local point of interests. Finally dogs are welcome, we have visited with our Collie lab and no issues at all, we also have 3 small children's and there is plenty to do. You can enjoy a walk to the lovely lane or use the front yard or garden. Breakfasts are freshly made, super fresh and very tasty. Just follow closely google maps while arriving as the turn is easy to miss. Finally part I loved the most are the roof windows, as the bed on the main bedroom is placed directly underneath and you can enjoy a starry night show, lying flat in bed. Totally awesome. Of course windows are squeaky clean, also the mornings are spectacular to, as you can watch the sunrise over the bay. Kitchenette is well equipped with coffee maker and kettle with coffee sachets, variety of tea, sugar, salt and pepper for one day. So don't forget to bring your own milk if staying for longer. There is also a normal fridge and very good, free Wi-Fi available. For us, it was a very pleasant stay and we are already thinking of going there again."

"Absolutely gorgeous place, super clean and very quiet. The hosts were amazing people and made us welcome and comfortable in their place. The views are so so good! You can see the bay out of the bedroom window. We spent five days here and we are already planning to go back!"

"Anam Sona is a beautiful house in a very rural location between Eyeries and Allihies. There's a fabulous view from the house and it even looked good when it was quite wet and wild in the morning. The breakfast was lovely and freshly cooked. The only issue we had which has been mentioned in other reviews is the lack of a door/gate at the top of the stairs - this seems unsafe for children. We wish Anja the very best in her new business"

"Our family of 5 stayed one night at this B&B and enjoyed every minute of it. The view over the bay was amazing, which my wife and I appreciated in the sun room over a bottle of wine. We had the whole upstairs to ourselves with more space than expected. Everything was clean and of excellent standard. There were even toys and games available for the children which was a nice touch. The host was very friendly and helpful and cooked us a lovely breakfast. Would definitely go back and/or recommend to others!"
